CW2 Weaver was killed in a Black Hawk Crash in Fallujah, Iraq. Aaron Weaver was a Kiowa Pilot with the 1st Squadron 17th Cavalry Reg, 82nd Airborne Division and was on his way to Baghdad for a checkup. Aaron Weaver was also an Army Ranger and served in Persian Gulf and Somalia during Operation Gothic Serpent. Weaver is mentioned in the book Black Hawk Down and was interviewed in the program "The True Story of Black Hawk Down." Weaver was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer in 2002, and was not suppose to be serving at the time. However, he was given a medical clearance and flew the Scouting & Observation Helicopter for C Troop 1-17 Cavalry. Aaron Weaver was 32 years old and was from Florida.
