RISING STAR - Larry J. White, 80, of Rising Star, died Tuesday Nov. 11, 2014 in Abilene.

He was born June 13, 1934 to Oscar and Cora (Greenwood) White in Rising Star. He was a farmer and a rancher and married Fae Monsey on Dec. 2, 1960 in Meridian. Larry was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rising Star.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Fae White; daughters Regina Bosma and Karla Medford; sister Mary Lois Dudley; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Oscar "Hop" White, Derrell White, and a sister, Edythe Morrow.
