UVALDE — Marjorie R. Arp of Uvalde passed away on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006, in Vitas Hospice Care in San Antonio at the age of 74. She was born on Nov. 17, 1931, in Rowena, Texas, to Ed and Laura Bolf. She married Gary Arp in Oklahoma.
She is survived by her husband, Gary, of Uvalde; daughter Becky Owens of Waxahachie, Texas; stepdaughter Janice Arp of Granbury, Texas; son Owen Smith of Broaddus, Texas; stepsons Gary Lane Arp of Odessa, Tommy Lee Arp of Aztec, N.M., Carl Gene Arp of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jim Bob Arp of Odessa, Texas; sisters Doris Husband of Tye, Texas, Betty Porter of Las Cruces, N.M., Sharon Lawler of Abilene, Texas, and Janice Wright of Crane, Texas; brothers Melton Bolf of San Diego, Charles Bolf of Del Rio, Texas, and Scotty Bolf of Crane, Texas; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a brother, James Bolf.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, in Hillcrest Cemetery. Paul Stephens will officiate.
