BRADY — Gloria Seaton Calvert passed away Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, at the age of 81 in Carrollton, Texas. A loving wife and mother of three will be greatly missed. She will be remembered for her love of music, animals, gardening and her many artistic talents.
Born Feb. 7, 1925, in Los Angeles, the daughter of Nautie Hinchman and H.B. Seaton, Gloria was raised in Brady, Texas. She later lived and worked in Fort Worth until moving to Dallas after marriage.
She is survived by her daughter, Patty Rees and husband John; two sons, Paul Calvert, and David Calvert and wife Elaine; four grandchildren, Jeff Rees, Diana Rees, Shana Calvert and Kendal Calvert; and one nephew, Blake Seaton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Calvert; and brother Buddy Seaton.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Sept. 21, at Heritage Funeral Home. Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at the United Methodist Church with graveside service following in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Humane Society of Texas, SPCA or to a charity of your choice.
