Monroe Norris, a farmer of the Garrett's Bluff community, died on Tuesday night at his home. He had been afflicted with heart trouble for sometime. He was born in Mississippi, was 68 years old and had been living in the Garrett's Bluff community for the last four years. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Edna Palmer of Garrett's Bluff, Bennie Norris of Quanah, David Norris of Hall county, and Mrs. Alma Yates of Abilene. He leaves two brothers, one of whom, Porter Norris, lives in Blossom, and the other in Mississippi.
