She primarily lived in Hillsboro until she met and married William H. Mandel on June 19, 1954. They spent most of their married life together in Mesquite, Tx.
She was a homemaker, worked at Southwestern Bell and the Dallas County Mental Health & Mental Retardation until she retired.
Mary Ruth left us and returned suddenly to her maker, February 1, 2016, leaving behind her husband William, daughter Suzette Mandel Meacham (husband Robert Meacham) of Carrollton, Tx. Son, Michael Mandel (wife Fay) of Dallas, Tx. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Jacob Meacham, Megan Meacham, Kayla Lambert (husband Jake Lambert) of Dallas. Brandon Valley, & many loving cousins and friends.
Mary Ruth lived a long and blessed life, and although her body was failing her, her mind and soul were full of life and love for her family and friends.
Services were at the First Presbyterian Church, 1028 S Beltline Rd, Mesquite, Tx where she was a member for years.
