GREENVILLE – Funeral services for Raymond E. Mills of Lone Oak, will be 5 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Chapel with Rev. James C. Nance and Mr. Roger Stemer officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery. Mr. Mills died Saturday at Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett.

He was born to Albert S. Mills Sr. and Maggie Robinson Mills, June 3, 1924, in Millican. He married Kitty Murphy, Oct. 6, 1942, in Ennis. Mr. Mills was a veteran of the Air Force and served in World War II. He was a retired Function Test Inspector with E-Systems, and a member of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his wife, Kitty Mills of Lone Oak; a son, Maxie Mills of Carrollton; a daughter, Marcia Mills of Austin; a sister, Louise Vickrey of Pasadena; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and two sisters.

Pallbearers are Scotty Burch, Gary Wallen, James Williams, Mark Sampson, Johnny Williams and Bill Alford.
