Robert Huntley Sr. was a soldier in the Revolution as a guard at the Battle of Camden and also one of a scouting party sent out to subdue Tories.
He was born about 1761.
He was first married to Elizabeth Wilson Huntley and second married Elizabeth Broadway Huntley.
He was Father to eight children.
