Maury Alexandria McKnight, 45, of Seffner, FL, formerly of Marks, a salesman for John Morrell, died Thursday, March 12, 1998, at his residence. Services were at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Father Kent Bowlds officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery with National Funeral Home handling arrangements.
Born in Marks, February 4, 1953, to Robert T. and Ruby Marshall McKnight, Mr. McKnight was a graduate of Delta Academy and attended Mississippi State University.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Holmes McKnight of Seffner, FL; one daughter, Kathryn Elizabeth Sturges of Brandon, FL; one son, Jeff McKnight of Seffner, FL; his parents, Robert T. and Ruby Marshall McKnight of Weir, formerly of Marks; two sisters, Marion Cooper of Baltimore, MD and Mandy Hawkins of Lewiston, ID; one brother, Dr. Thomas McKnight of Spokane, WA; and two grandchildren.
