Angela K. Aase, 54, of Columbus, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 24, at Stonacek Funeral Chapel, 1200 N. 13th St., in Norfolk with the Rev. Dennis Quigley officiating. Interment will be in New Lutheran Cemetery in Norfolk. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel. Congregational hymns will be "In the Garden" and "Go Rest High on that Mountain." Pallbearers will be Dave Aase, Randy Aase, Terry Reigle, Todd Quigley, Chad Quigley and Brian Beutler.
Angela K. Aase was born Dec. 15, 1961, in San Pedro, California, to Lynn and Sharon (Spiering) Quigley. She was baptized at First Christian Church in Norfolk and graduated from Norfolk High School in 1980.
On Nov. 10, 2004, she married Timothy Aase in Las Vegas, Nevada.
During and after high school graduation, Angela worked at Hy-Vee as a checker. She then worked at Goodyear for 14 years, later moving to Columbus in 2003. Angela has worked in quality control at Vishay since 2005. Angela became ill within this last month. She enjoyed gardening, snowmobiling in the Black Hills and Laramie, Wyoming, bowling in state and national tournaments, boating on Lewis and Clark Lake, and cruises with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy Aase of Columbus; mother, Sharon Quigley of Norfolk; brother, Corey and wife Susan Quigley of Blair; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lynn Quigley; and brother, Lynn John Jr.
