Services for Billy McGee were held Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at 3:30 p.m. from the chapel of McClain-Hays Funeral Home.

The Rev. David Richardson and the Rev. Scotty Boatner officiated. Burial was in Cedarlawn Cemetery.

Mr. McGee, 72, died Sunday, March 27, 2005, in his home in Neshoba County.

He was born in Newton County but had made his home in Neshoba County most of his life. He was retired from Weyerhaeuser Company as an equipment operator.

Mr. McGee was a Baptist by faith.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Margie Rushing and Mavis Hillman; and his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Anita McGee of Philadelphia; one daughter, Susie Rhodes of Philadelphia; five sons, Teddy McGee, Freddie McGee, Jeff McGee, Keith McGee and Tim McGee, all of Philadelphia; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Audie McGee and Chester McGee, both of Philadelphia, James McGee of Atlanta, Ga. and Curtis McGee of Buckatunna; and one sister, Bonnie Stevens of Harperville.
Pallbearers were Daniel McGee, Eric McGee, Brewer McGee, Jerome Parker, Lenny Miles, Bobby Singleton, Jeremy Keene, Joe Jenkins, Shannon Rhodes, Tanner McGee, Dustin Rhodes, Jonathan McGee, Seth McGee, Kevin Smith and Billy Watkins
