Funeral services for Mr. Dannie Edward Adams, age 75, of Cookeville will be Conducted with Military Honors on Saturday at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Bro. Ronald Strong will officiate and the Honor Guard will serve as Pallbearers. The burial will follow in the Cookeville City Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Adams will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00pm until the time of services at 2:00pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Dannie Edward Adams was born on October 28, 1940 in Caraway, Arkansas to the late Howard and Rena Cox Adams. He passed away on November 17, 2015 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Adams grew up in Three Oaks, Michigan with his parents and his seven brothers and sisters. Dannie Graduated Three Oaks High School and later married Alice White of Flint Michigan on June 1, 1968. He was employed by the Michigan Department of Transportation for over 30 years and served in the United States Air Force from 1960-1964. Dannie resided in Coloma, Michigan for over 30 years before moving to his current residence of Cookeville TN.

Dannie is survived by his wife, Alice Adams of Cookeville, his son Michael Adams and Daughter in-law Adrienne Adams, Grandchildren, Scott, Justin, Mark and Zoey Adams all of Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. He is also survived by. He is also survived by his siblings, Catherine, Linda and Jerry Jerue of Climax Michigan, Eunice Place of Buchanan, Michigan, Eddy and Denise Adams of LaPier Michigan.

Dannie was preceded in death by his son, Dannie Edward Adams II of Coloma Michigan, Brothers Kenneth Adams and Jerry Wayne Adams, as well as his sisters Gloria Arnold and Shirley Allred.
