He was born Feb. 14, 1915, in El Dorado, Ark. He retired from Tom Green County as a heavy equipment operator. He was deputy tax assessor for Gaines County, a deacon at Park Heights Baptist Church and ran for Tom Green County commissioner in 1972. He was owner of the Trade World Bazaar and retired from Lakeside Imports in 1994.
Survivors include one daughter, Pat Williams and husband, Charles; eight grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; one brother, Lloyd Huntley and wife, Juanita, of San Angelo; and one sister, Mary Luna of Dallas.
Gravesides service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Dr. James Miller officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home.
