Pat first came to Ajo, Arizona, in 1936 to visit his brother Tom. He returned to live in Ajo in 1939, working at Tom's grocery store. Pat was a WWII veteran, having joined the 158th Infantry Regiment just prior to the war. Recipient of the American Defense Medal, American Campaign Medal, and the WWII Victory Medal. He was discharged due to illness in 1943 and returned to Ajo. He was the Holsum Bread distributor in Ajo from 1943 to 1981 and was the Ajo distributor for A-1 Beer from 1949 to 1960. Member Why-Ajo Gem & Mineral Society, member American Legion (Post #10, Ajo, AZ).
