Mrs. Dosia Caroline West, age 64, died at the home of her son Herman West in the North part of Doniphan, last Friday as a result of pneumonia. The funeral was held that afternoon
and the interment made at Oakridge West cemetery, 15 miles west of Doniphan. The services were conduced by Rev, D.W. Jones, pastor of the Baptist church of this city. Jordan service.
Mrs. West was a native of Macon, Georgia but came with her family to this country in 1909. She leaves her husband, Robt. West who lives on Briar Creek, and five sons, Herman of Doniphan Wm., T. Luther, Arvel and Delmar West of Briar Creek and one daughter Mrs. W.L. Cowles of Doniphan. One son, James L. West was killed overseas during the World War. ~~ source .... 4 MAY 1933 REPUBLICAN
