"OBITUARY"

Charles E. Landaw, 82, died at 1 p.m. Sunday at his home, 1406 East Lincoln avenue, where he had lived for 46 years. Death was due to complication, following a six weeks illness.
The deceased, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Landaw, was born in Clinton township Dec. 17, 1858 and spent his life in this community. He was a member of the Mennonite Brethren in Christ church.
Surviving are his widow, Catherine, two sons, Harry of Goshen and Claude of Ft. Custer, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. William Oswald of Goshen and Mrs. Fred Powell of South Bend, nine grandchildren, five sisters, John Brookmyer of Goshen, Mrs. Charles Bickel and Mrs. Ina Fiedeke, both of Elkhart; Mrs. Linnie Zollinger of Goshen and Mrs. Clara Peters of Los Angeles, and two brothers, Oak and Wilbur Landaw, both of Nappanee.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Culp funeral home. The Rev. O. J. Everest will officiate. Burial will be made in Violett cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home until the hour of the service.
