Herbie was my father in law for 20 yrs[I have now been married to his son for 27 yrs.]We did'nt always get along mostly because, of "hearsay & uncalled for rumors" But,we loved each other anyway. The last time I saw him was about a yr. before he passed away.He hugged me & told me he loved me & was sorry about all the problems we had...had thru the yrs. I told him I loved him too & we would have gotten along better had we both not listened to family gossip.He told me he would see me later & that was the last time I saw him.
Herbie married my mother in law Georgia Alice Harrington on Aug.3rd 1949.They had been married almost 50 yrs. when he died.Herbie loved to hunt & fish,adored his children & grandchildren & his dog "Whiskey"
He is survived by his 4 son's...Herman[Bubba] Daniel,Jack & Andrew.His 4 daughter's,Kathy,Elaine,Carla & Alice.His daughters in laws..Cyndy Millican,Jackie Millican & Samantha Millican.His sons in laws Monte Cain,Donnie Conaster,Tommy Hooper & Larry Morse.And, close family friend Kimberly Upton Goodwin.
Herbie will be missed by all who knew & loved him.
