ORLANDO OVERTURF, MULKEYTOWN, DIES
Orlando Overturf, 66, of Rt. 2, Mulkeytown, died at 10:40 p.m. Friday in Herrin Hospital. He had been in ill health the last three years. Mrs.(sic) Overturf was born June 3, 1904, in Macedonia, the son of Alonzo and Leoline Mansell Overturf. He was a retired construction worker and a member of the Creek Nation Pentecostal Church northwest of Zeigler. He leaves his wife, Mamie; a daughter, Orlene Hargan of Rt. 1, Marion; a stepson, William Chapman of Coello; a brother George M. Overturf of Rt. 1, Royalton; sisters, Fay of California, Mrs. Stella Gouge of Burckner, Mrs. Fern Rushing of Carbondale and Mrs. Mabel Walker of Carterville. A stepson, Edward Chapman, preceded him in death. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Vantrease Funeral Home, Zeigler. Friends may call at the funera; home after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral services for Orlando Overturf, 66, Rt. 2, Mulkeytown, were 2 p.m. today at the Vantrease Funeral Home, Zeigler. Burial was in Zeigler Cemetery. Mr. Overturf died at 10:40 p.m. Friday in Herrin Hospital.
