Jeri Lynne Ashley Bearden passed peacefully on the evening of September 7, 2015 in Richland, WA, after a long battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). Born in Beaumont, TX on December 28, 1948, she was the daughter of Mary Fore and Joe Warren Ashley. Jeri was a long-time resident of Lake Jackson, TX, where she worked as a social worker and employee of BACH, an agency devoted to helping children with handicaps.

If you knew Jeri, you knew she was a Texan. If you knew Jeri, you knew she would laugh at you when you tripped over something and laugh twice as hard when she did the same thing moments later. You knew she cried reading greeting cards and children's books. You knew if you needed help you got it. You knew she had a heart of gold. She was our wife, mother, friend, and confidant. She was the best. Now she rests in God’s arms and is forever in our hearts.

Jeri is survived by her husband, Mark Bearden, her children Beth Adams and Michael Bearden, and her grandchildren, Ashley Rose and Whitfield Adams.
