Lucille Battistoni Bowman passed away in New Braunfels Texas on August 29, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease at the age of 84.

Born October 19, 1930 to Lena Lofaso and Orlando Battistoni in Galveston, Texas. Lucille was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. She attended Ball High School where she met her husband of 62 years William Edgar Bowman Jr. They eventually settled in Austin Texas where Lucille worked in the state comptroller's office as a supervisor.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband and her beloved son William Edgar Bowman III.

She is survived by her daughter Kathy Bowman; her sisters, Anna Mae Fowles and Mary Catherine Young; as well as many extended family members.

Graveside services will be held at at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.

Kathy would like to thank the staff of Sodalis Elder Living on Cross Street in New Braunfels and Cima Hospice for their kindness, skill, and Support.
