Joseph Branson J.B. Titlow age 65, made Heaven his home on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. He was a member and Deacon of the Church of God of the Union Assembly in Knoxville. J.B. was a decorated Vietnam Veteran serving in several capacities including Special Forces from 1966-1974. Preceded in death by father, Clarence Titlow; and sister-in-law, Linda Titlow. Survived by wife, Sherma (Hunley) Titlow; daughters, Angela (Greg) Powell, Angel (Michael) Sparks, Christina Burt, Brandi (Ben) Wright, and Hayley Titlow; son, Joseph (Rachel) Mazurek; mother, Belva Cantrell; sister, Eileen (Joe) Messina; brothers, C.M. (Barbara) Titlow and Johnny (Vickie) Titlow; sixteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends; and very special friends Kevin and Marcella Lyons, Jim Webber, and Paris McBee. Family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Church of God of the Union Assembly, 3428 Keith Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37921 with the funeral service to follow with Reverends Paul Thomas Hughes, Rocky Smith, and Marcus Pratt officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:00 AM at Bridges Funeral Home on Saturday, June 27, 2015, and proceed to Dyer Cemetery for an 11:00 AM graveside service with full military honors presented by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard and US Army National Guard. Pallbearers: Marty Bell, Chris Davis, Ernie Hance, Kevin Lyons, Paul Smith, and Jim Webber. Honorary pallbearers: Deacon Board of the Church of God of the Union Assembly, Mike Agentis, Rance Cagle, Sr., Eddie Jenkins, Jr., C.U. Lyons, Allen Massengill, Paris McBee, Calandon McCarter, Darren McCarter, Jeff Mc Carter, Shane McCarter, Johnny Merritt, Ricky Merritt, Doffise Williams, Joey Hunley, and Jonathan Hunley.
