She retired and had owned and operated Georgia’s Vacuum, Sales and Repair since 1958 after 27 years of service. She was a past member of Business and Professional Women’s club.
Georgia is survived by three children including, Glen (wife-Elizabeth) Abrams, Barbara (husband- Rev. Lane) Fairchild, Larry (wife-Lisa) Abrams all of New Castle; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Coleen Gray of Richmond, In., Edith Lunsford of Connersville, In; Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Arlie and Oren Abrams; one sister, Janie and three brothers.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 6th, 2015 at the Hacker – Main & Davis Funeral Home, New Castle Broad St. Chapel with Rev. Lane Fairchild officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery – Westlawn addition. Friends may call Monday 10:00 a.m. – 11:00am at the funeral home.
