Gross. - Suddenly, in Plainfield, on Friday, September 30, JOHN P GROSS, in the 41st year of his life. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services, at his late residence, on Sunday, October 2, at three P.M. Interment Monday.

John P. Gross, Ph.D., principal of the Plainfield (N.J.) public schools, died last evening. Dr. Gross went from Brunswick, Me., his native place, about seven years ago to take care of the schools. He was educational commissioner from New Jersey to the last world's fair at Paris and is well known in educational circles.
