Estelle Louise Jones, 81, of 401 S. 23rd St. died at 8:35 a.m. Sunday, March 28, 1993, at home. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker. She was a member of Hurricane Memorial Baptist Church. She was born April 9, 1911, in Shelby County, Ala., to Will and May (Lucas) Green. She married James Herbert Jones on Dec. 18, 1935, in Murphysboro. He died Nov. 17, 1992.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Jerry and Joy Wallace of Las Vegas, Nev.; one brother- in-law, Albert G. Sizemore of Herrin; two grandsons, Steve Wallace and his wife, Debra, and Dr. Scott Wallace, all of Las Vegas; one grand daughter, Shan Robb and her husband, Shane, of Las Vegas; two great-grandchildren, Kristin and Michael Wallace; one brother and sister-in-law, W.R. and Dorothy Green of Herrin; and one sister-in-law, Gladys Jones of Herrin.
Her parents, and one sister-in-law, Leda Mae Sizemore, also preceded her in death.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Fri day in Van Natta Funeral Home, with the Revs. Brad Harlow and David Gilley officiating. Burial in Herrin City Cemetery.
