He entered the United States Marine Corps on February 25, 1964 and returned to Dallas after his discharge. He married Marjorie Gray on March 13, 1967, and they later returned to Henderson County. He worked with his father as a barber at the Webb Barber Shop in Athens. He had also worked for Red Dot Steel, Brown and Root and Flour-Daniels. He was most recently employed by Warfab as a field machine welder. Mr. Webb enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling."
