YORK Paul C. Campbell, 91, died Monday, April 13, 2015, at Broadmore Senior Living. He was the husband of B. Elizabeth "Betty" (McLaughlin) Campbell. Mr. and Mrs. Campbell celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on September 23, 2014. Born March 30, 1924, in Shermans Dale, he was the son of the late Lee P. and Ethel M. (Cameron) Campbell. Paul was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in Europe during WWII. He was in the 7th Depot Repair Squadron. He also served in the National Guard during the Korean War. Paul was employed for 32 years with York Bank and Trust. He was a Branch Manager for several different branches and retired as Vice President of Commercial Banking with the bank. He graduated from Yeagertown High School, Derry Township. Paul was a member of Advent Lutheran Church. He was a member of Springettsbury Lions Club where he received the Melvin Jones Fellow Award, Zeredatha Lodge #451, F&AM where he was Past Master, Zembo Temple, York Forrest #30, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, York County Shrine Club, and Pleasureville American Legion Post 799. Paul belonged to Midnite Riders Motorcycle Club in Lewistown. Paul and Betty enjoyed many years of hunting, motorcycle riding, and traveling out west and visiting national parks. He loved spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Brian S. and his wife, Anita Campbell of York; a daughter, Linda and her husband, Frank Leonard of Annandale, Va.; three grandchildren, Sean Campbell of Bethlehem and Frank and Paul Leonard of Annandale, Va.; and a brother, Roy and his wife, Mary Ellen Campbell of Annville. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Advent Lutheran Church, 1775 E. Market St., York. with his pastors, the Rev. David L. Ritterpusch and the Rev. Brenda M. Ritterspusch, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery with graveside military rites performed by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. A viewing will be held Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Owens Hall of the church. Masonic Services will be performed by his lodge at 10:30 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Missions & Mortar Renovation Fund, c/o Advent Lutheran Church, 1775 E. Market St., York, PA 17402; or to AseraCare Hospice, 44 Bowman Road, York, PA 17408.
