Jones, Kathleen “Kate” Coen 1883-1973

In Memory Of:
Mrs. Kathleen “Kate” Coen Jones aged 90 years, of Pine Bank, RD 1, died at 5:50 AM Wednesday, Aug. 29, 1973 in Greene County Memorial Hospital after a serious illness of about 10 days. Born May 16, 1883 in Gilmore Township, she was the daughter of Robert and Sarah Ann Overturff Coen, and was the widow of Albert Milton Jones, who died in 1919. Mrs. Jones lived all her life in the Pine Bank area and was a member of the Pine Bank area, and was a member of the Pine Bank United Methodist Church, and the United Methodist Women of that church. She was also a member of the Kauhntown Grange. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Charles “Margaret” Daugherty and Priscilla Jones, both of Pine Bank; and Mrs. Warren “Winfred” Benscoter of Ingomar; two sons, James R. Jones of Chambersburg; and A. Milton Jones of New Freeport; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Three grandchildren, three brothers, and a sister are deceased. Interment will be in Pine Bank Cemetery.
