" Claude D. Kemp, 71, of Rome, died Thursday in a Rome convalescent home. -- Mr. Kemp had lived in Rome about six years. He had retired as an engineer with the L and N Railroad, having been employed in Atlanta for a number of years. -- Survivors include a brother, Fred T. Kemp, Austell, and a sister, Mrs. D. L., Cline, Cartersville."
