Abraham L. Thomas, 1623 Mt. Rose avenue, died at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the York Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past few days. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. He was seventy-two years old. Mr. Thomas, who was a huckster, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma J. Thomas; one daughter, Mrs. Leah V. Stonesifer, York; six sons, Charles W., John E., Paul H., Robert L., A. D., and Edgar E. Thomas, York; twenty-seven grandchildren including Mrs. Grace Brickner, York, who was reared by her grandparents and seven great-grandchildren. The body was removed to the Edward Etzweiler and Sons Funeral home, 732 East Market street. The funeral will be held at 1:30 p. m., Thursday, with brief services at his home, followed by concluding services at Bethany Evangelical church. Interment will be made in Mt. Rose cemetery.
