Although the information provided on the memorial for Catherine Hill's husband, Jacob, says her maiden name was Schneider, research by Find A Grave contributor Drone questions that information:
"The wife of Jacob Hill was NOT Catherine Schneider. Catherine Schneider, daughter of Peter Schneider and Apolonia Youngman was married to John Hill, grandson of Jacob Hill.
I think Jacob Hill's wife MAY have been Catherine Lesher a Daughter of Nicholas Lesher and his wife, Johanna."

One day I hope to find for certain my many greats grandmother's maiden name.
