Harold Claude Bell, 78, of Blooming Grove, died Nov. 23, 1994, at his residence. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at the Methodist Church, with Marvin Moore officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Blooming Grove.
Pallbearers will be Roy McCleary, Mike Newell, Mitch Newell, Randy Bell, Reagan Bell and Thomas Sheppard.
He was born April 28, 1916, in Irene, Texas. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Blooming Grove.
He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Bell; two sons, Bobby Dan Bell and Billy Ray Bell; one sister, Gladys Sheppard; five grandchildren, Dana Lee Stubbs, Cody Ray Bell, Sherri LaVerne Wilkinson, Christopher Eric Bell and Courtney Elisha Bell; and four great-grandchildren, Megan P. Wilkinson, Zachary Scott Wilkinson, Christian A. Bell, and Sydney Rain Bell.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Bell.
