Lillian Oliver, a 62-year resident of Beaumont, Texas, passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, April 22 at the age of 92 years, three months and two days.

She was born January 20, 1923 in Navasota, Texas.

She graduated from Navasota High School in 1941. After graduation she worked for the Selective Service Board, Southern Union Gas and Gulf States Utilities Company in Navasota. It was while working at GSU that she met Sterling Oliver, whom she married on June 21, 1953 in Navasota. In Beaumont, she was a 62-year member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Though she was primarily a "homebody," she relished trips to Las Vegas, San Francisco and Napa, CA and a Caribbean cruise.

Lillian is survived by her son Steven Oliver; two nieces; three grandnieces and two grandnephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Emmett and Lucy Watkins Alley, her husband Sterling, and her brother W. C. (Dub) Alley.
