Mary Wilson, age 69 of Mauston, Wisconsin died Tuesday, November 9, 2010.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Mauston with Father Valentine Joseph celebrating. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Mauston. Visitation will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church on Saturday from 9 to 10 A.M.

Mary was born March 5, 1941 in L'Anse, Michigan the daughter of Herbert and Helene (Picard) Welsh. She received a nursing degree in Tulsa, Oklahoma and married William Wilson in October of 1974 in St. Paul, Minnesota. She worked as a registered nurse in Milwaukee, St. Paul and Baraga, Michigan and served as a director of the drug and alcohol treatment center in Baraga. In the Mauston area she was a traveling nurse. Mary was a loving mother and loving sister, and a very caring friend and neighbor. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

Mary is survived by her sons, William III and Chauncy; brothers, James and Douglas both of L’Anse and sisters, Margaret LaTocha of Eagle River, Alaska, Aleta (Alex) Jimmi of Toksook Bay, Alaska and Judith Smith of L’Anse. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Herbert and a sister, Catherine.
