Services for Jim Williams, 83, father of country-western singer Don Williams, will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Rose Chapel of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home with Elder Lloyd (Reddoch) of Amarillo officiating.
Burial will be in West Park Cemetery under direction of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Mr. Williams died Tuesday at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo after brief illness.
He was born Dec. 12, 1898, in Texas and was a veteran of World War I. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include two Sons, Don of Nashville, Tenn.; and Jim Lee of Cor Corpus Christi; and several grandchildren.
