Teresa Jo Christopher, age 46 of Tuttle, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015, at her home. She was born on April 3, 1968, in Oklahoma City, OKlahoma. She was the youngest of two daughters born to Joe Daugherty and Shirley (Brummell) Daugherty.
Teresa grew up in Tuttle and graduated from Tuttle High School with the class of 1986. After high school, she attended cosmetology school in Norman and became a licensed cosmetologist. On March 11, 1989, Teresa married the love of her life, Jerry Christopher. For the past 25 years, they have made Tuttle their home and together they raised three children, Alexis, Brady, and Bella. Teresa enjoyed being a stay at home mom and taxi for her children and their activities. She was a wonderful wife and mother; she was also a special daughter and sister. Teresa loved her family and they loved her. She was a caring and giving person who enjoyed doing things for others. Growing up, Teresa attended the First Baptist Church in Tuttle and throughout her life made many friends. Some of Teresa’s hobbies were working in her yard and flower beds, reading, and caring for her family.
She is survived by: Husband, Jerry Christopher of the home; Three children, Alexis, Brady and Bella; Parents, Joe and Shirley Daugherty of Tuttle; Sister, Cindy Daugherty of Tuttle; Father and mother-in-law, Ron and Lois Christopher of Blanchard; Brother-in-law, Don Christopher of Dibble; Many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at the Tuttle First Baptist Church. Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Newcastle.
