Patsy Ruth Pittman-Morgan, of Abilene, passed away Tuesday evening, March 17, 2015.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, in North's Memorial Chapel, with Jerry McNeil officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park, under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday evening in North's Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange Street.

Patsy Morgan was born May 27, 1930 in Gorman, Texas to John Wayne Pittman and Lena Margaret Bennett.

She was a longtime member of Eastern Star Chapter 30 in Abilene, Texas, and a member of the Abilene Women's Bowling Association.

She participated in charitable organizations, including St. Jude Children's Hospital, and The Wounded Warrior Project.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald Lee, and niece, Christina Heron.

She is survived by three daughters, Pam Kirby, Donna Heron, and Tina Morgan; Brother, Jerry Pittman and wife Peggy; grandson, Jason Kirby and wife Edna; granddaughters, Catherine Heron-Jackson, Lisa Kirby- Rose; great-grandchildren, Mellie Kirby, Jayden Kirby, Joey Kirby, Donye Green, Hayden Jones and Blake Jackson.

She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She loved her sports, especially The Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers.

Patsy loved her pets and her charity organizations.

She was an avid bowler, loved to travel and enjoyed gardening.
