ALICE (BUTLER) DENZLER
"Ali" passed away peacefully on Nov. 4, 2008 following a long battle with cancer.
She was born on March 8, 1938 in Bremerton, WA and lived her early childhood on Seabeck Island, WA, later moving to West Seattle. She graduated from West Seattle High School in 1956. Alice worked for many years as secretary to general manager of the Milwaukee Land Co., Seattle, R. G. Sackerson.
Ali was predeceased by her husband, Charlie, with whom she shared a love of outdoor activities including gardening, skiing, back packing, canoeing and sailing.
Alice is survived by her sister, Vie Montgomery; her nephew, Dennis (Donna) Montgomery; brother, Gary Butler; and her step-daughters, Cheryl (Chris) Crist and Jeanine (Shel) Merchant. Ali will be dearly missed by her many friends and neighbors.
