Larry Lewis Teagarden, 67, of Salem, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at his residence.

He was born January 4, 1948, in Clarksburg, son of the late Clark and Blanche Hudson Teagarden.

Larry is survived by his ex-wife, Karen Blair of Salem; one stepson, Cody Miracle of Grass Run Rd; one stepgranddaughter, Mira Caldwell of North Carolina.

Larry was a retired LPN from William Sharpe Hospital, Weston. He served in the U.S. Army during the Cuban Crisis.

Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a wood craftsman, and he made many pieces for his family and friends. He loved gardening, canning and working outdoors. Larry helped friends with gardening or anything else they needed.

Family will receive friends at Greathouse Funeral Home, 1999 W. Main St., Salem, Tuesday, February 3, 2015, from 4-8 p.m.; funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Robert Merritt officiating. Interment will follow at K of P Cemetery.
