BAKER, Kenneth Ray "Kenny" II
Age 21, of Augusta

Died Saturday morning, April 22, 2006, from injuries sustained after being struck by a car on M-96 in Galesburg.

Kenny was born on August 20, 1984 in Plainwell, MI. He was the son of Kenneth Ray and Lorraine Kay "Lori" (Whipple) Baker. Kenny attended the Otsego and Galesburg-Augusta school systems, and was employed as a food preparer at McDonald's in Galesburg for the past two years. Kenny enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, bow hunting, disc golfing and go-karting.

Kenny is survived by his mother, Lorraine Kay "Lori" (Whipple) Baker of Augusta; MI; his father and step-mother, Kenneth Ray "Ken" (Karen) Baker of Otsego, MI; four brothers, Matthew A. Baker of Augusta, David L. Baker of Otsego, and Jeremy D. Nelson, II and Wayne C.J. Whipple, both of Augusta; a step-sister, Heather Bishop of Kalamazoo, MI; and two step-brothers, Kurt Bishop, who is serving in the US Navy stationed at Norfolk, VA, and Mark Bishop of Otsego; his maternal grandmother, Karen L. Hite of Augusta; maternal grandfather, Clyde L. Whipple of Augusta; paternal grandparents, Raymond A. and Joyce A. (Langeance) Baker of Otsego; and his paternal step-grandmother, Velma Todd of Otsego.

At the request of the family, friends may call on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the FARLEY-ESTES & DOWDLE AUGUSTA CHAPEL
307 N. Webster St.

The Funeral Service for Kenny will be on Wednesday, April 26th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Stephen M.G. Charnley, Pastor of the Gull Lake United Methodist Church of Richland, officiating.

Interment will follow at Augusta Cemetery, Augusta, MI.
