Hazel E. Dawson, age 75, of Clarksville, passed away, Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Regency Nursing Center. Mrs. Dawson was born September 20, 1939, in Petty to George and Thelma Whatley Dawson. She married Bryon Dawson on October 23, 1966. Hazel loved her church family and was a member of the Temple Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of Clarksville; 2 sons; 1 sister; 1 brother; and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 14, 2015, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Lucas Fields and Rev. Eddie Slaton officiating. Burial will follow in Whiteman’s Chapel Cemetery.
