Lt. Col. Sidney W. "Sid" Millegan, U.S. Air Force, Retired, age 86, died Friday, July 5, 2002.

He was born in Helena, MT on March 11, 1916 and was a longtime resident of San Antonio.

After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, he served his Lord as Minister of Education and Administration at Parkhills Baptist Church, Northridge Park Baptist Church and Churchill Baptist Church where he remained a member.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Margaret E. Millegan; sons, Michael W. Millegan, Patrick S. Millegan, Dennis C.W. Millegan; grandchildren, Heather Brown, Meredith Millegan, Michael Wallace Millegan, Maria C. Millegan, William Millegan, Marsha Millegan; great-grandchildren, Andrew Brown and Elise Brown.

The Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2002 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Dr.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at Churchill Baptist Church, 12400 Vista View with Chaplain Col. James Robinson officiating. The Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Mission Burial Park North. Memorials may be made to the Churchill Baptist Church, 12400 Vista View, San Antonio, Texas, 78231. Arrangements are with Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
