Timothy Ryan Noonan of High Road, Newbury, passed unexpectedly at his home on January 17, 2015. Born in Newburyport, he was the son of Robert and Diane (Somers) Noonan, the husband of Meaghan Berard Noonan and the father of Michaela Noonan, age 7, and Ryleigh Noonan, age 2. Tim was raised in Newbury and attended Newbury schools. He graduated from Triton High School, where he participated in sports including the track and wrestling teams. His greatest passion, however, was music. He played the saxophone in the jazz band and was a member of the Triton Marching Band. Tim went on to win several northeast district competitions and also placed 2nd in the State for his saxophone skills and talent. He also won an award from the Berklee School of Music and upon graduation from Triton, was given the Louis Armstrong Award. He received a music scholarship from Wesleyan, but instead decided to attend U Mass Amherst. He held many jobs in his short life, including his job working for RCN. His greatest love, however, was his wife and his two daughters, whom he adored and doted on with great enthusiasm. They were his whole life. During his life he enjoyed traveling, having visited Canada, Bermuda, Mexico, the entire coast of California and most of all, the great National Parks. He had many friends who loved him for his humor, compassion, and unlimited friendship. He was a loving, caring, giving person, who was always there when someone was in need. Tim is predeceased by his brother Jeffrey, and leaves behind his parents, his wife and two daughters, his uncles Matt Noonan of Dracut; Edward Noonan and wife Julie of Northfield, MN; Michael Somers and wife Linda of Amesbury, along with numerous cousins, extended family members and countless friends.

No more demons to fight. Rest in peace our beloved son.

A “Celebration of Life” for family and close friends will be held at the Noonan homestead at 248 High Road, Newbury, Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 4 to 7 P.M.
