He married Frankie Polk on Oct. 21, 1950 in Lovington, N.M. and came to Odessa in 1957 from Truscott, Texas. . John was a veteran and worked for S.L Briley Construction from 1963 to 1983. He formed his own company, John Bullion Asphalt, where he remained self-employed until he retired in 1992. Graveside Services are scheduled, for 1 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2003, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
