Dan Thomas Burton, age 77, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015, in Comanche, Texas.

He was born on November 6, 1937, in Comanche, Texas, to Thomas Neely and Virginia A. (Rogers) Burton. For twenty-eight years he lived in San Bruno, California and worked for Binks Manufacturing in South San Francisco as Assistant Manager. Dan returned to Comanche in 1989. He was a Methodist and a member of the Independent Order of Foresters.

He is survived by his daughter, Catherine Virginia Burton-Meza and husband, Jason of South San Francisco, California; grandsons, Austin Tyler Burton Meza and Christian Michael Meza, both of South San Francisco, California; son, Richard Harrigan and wife Carina of Livermore, California; daughter, Laura Graver and husband Roger of San Jose, California; son, Stephen Harrigan and wife Jamie of South Carolina; eight grandchildren, Sally, Scott, Mandy, Jon, Dallas, Blayde, Sarah, and Rogie; two great-grandchildren, Dana Jr. and Blake; and numerous, nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his former wife, Lois "Lotti" Burton on December 31, 2012; parents, Thomas Neely and Virginia (Rogers) Burton; and two brothers, Richard Burton and Guy Edward Burton.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Oakwood Cemetery
VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Tuesday 6-8 p.m.
