Lake Preston - Alice Diede, 80, of Lake Preston Memorial Manor died Wednesday, March 14, 1984, at the Lake Preston Hospital.
The funeral will be 2 pm Saturday in Brooks Memorial Chapel, with the Rev Bruce Herrboldt officiating. Burial will be in Ideal Cemetery, Huron.
Friends may call Friday afternoon and evening and prior to the service on Saturday at the Brooks Funeral Chapel.
Alice Frances Gross was born April 8, 1903, in Hitchcock to Mr and Mrs Joseph (Sarah) Gross. She married Ervin A Nagel Aug 20, 1942, in Madison. He died in 1947. She married Christian Diede July 16, 1955. He died Sept 3, 1972.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs Orlin Brown of De Smet; one grandson, Timothy Jason Brown of De Smet; five step daughters, Mrs Delbert (Carol) North, Mrs Herman (Ruby) Voss, and Mrs Ervin (Bertha) Bittner, all of Huron, Mrs Dick (Martha) Lambert of Alpena, and Mrs Camden (Elizabeth) French of Everett, Wash; four step sons, Christian Diede of Huron, John Diede of Tulare, and Elbert and Jackie Diede of Everett, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, one infant daughter, one step daughter, seven brothers and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Omer Pearson, Herman E Voss, Randy Diede, Richard Geyer, Ronnie Geyer and Everett Timm.
