Mrs. James Shippee, who has been in poor health for some time, passed away early Saturday evening. The funeral was held from her late home Tuesday afternoon, Rev. C. E. Cahee and Rev. J. Dorst conducting the services. The casket was covered with beautiful flowers and she was laid to rest in the village cemetery just one month after the death of her sister, Mrs. Mary Reed. She was the second wife of James L. Shippee, who survives here. Besides her husband, James Shippee, who is infirm both in years and health, she also leaves one son, Ernest, of this place, and two brothers, and one sister in Buffalo, N.Y.
