PANAMA CITY, Fla. -- Evelyn D. Fort Bosarge, who taught elementary school for 36 years, died Sunday. She was 100.
Mrs. Bosarge, formerly of Bayou La Batre, was a resident of Panama City. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Tidmore of Panama City and Bertie Lou Owens of Montgomery; one sister, Althea Vacalis of Mobile; one brother, Jack Fort of Grand Bay; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. today at Serenity Funeral Home on Old Pascagoula Road, with the service at 10 a.m. Burial will be Mobile Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice, 2589 Jenks Ave., Panama City FL 32405.
