Betty Aaker, a longtime resident of the Cheney area, passed away at the Hospice of Spokane, on November 9, 2014, after a long illness with heart disease.
She is survived by her husband Larry and three sons - Daniel Stramaris and Donald Stramaris, both of Headland, Ala., and Larry Aaker II of Cheney, as well as by many grandkids and great-grandkids.
In recognition of her husband Larry's faithful service in the US Navy, Betty was laid to rest in the Washington State Veterans Cemetery near Medical Lake, Washington. Instead of flowers, please donate to the Cheney Food Bank.
