STANLEY ~ Ronald Van Furr, 74, was a son of the late Pratt and Mary Harley Furr. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Furr and a brother, Bruce Furr.
Ronald served in the U.S. Army, was a Jan. 1962 graduate of NC State University, was employed with J.P. Stevens in Stanley for 39 years, serving as Quality Control Inspector and Plant Superintendent, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Stanley where he had been active with the scouting program.
Interment in Hillcrest Gardens.
