Vivian Twitty Campbell, 94, of Birome, Texas, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2006, at a Comanche nursing center. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Wade Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Calcote officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home before the services on Tuesday.

Vivian was born in Allsboro, Alabama, to the late William David and Samaria Beulah (Hill) Twitty. She lived in Birome from 1922 until 1999, when she moved to Gustine. Vivian was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and sister. She was a member of the Methodist church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred D. Campbell in 1984; and four siblings.

Survivors include daughters, Jo Ann Campbell Kyle, of Waco and Sue Campbell Couch and husband, Bruce, of Gustine; grandchildren, Debbie Wiles and husband, Russell, Sue Ann Decker and husband, Richard and Lisa Cone and husband, Shawn; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Horace Twitty, of Taylor; sister, Francis Pittman and husband, Jack, of Belton; former son-in-law, Bill Kyle, of Liberty; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
